Does anyone else have this annoying advert at the top of the board, on the part where you click to add messages, not right at the top. It is on all the boards but not the messages board. I have posted on General board but only one person replied and that was a negative so i am beginning to think it is only me. But it doesn't appear o be a normal pop up and sometimes obscurs the message box on threads. Very annoying. Any ideas how to get rid of it. Ann Glos

I haven't got that advert Ann. Just the pesky bouncing cherries to the left and a changing Lakeland one at the top of the screen. None obscur the boards though. Gwyn

Are you using the uk version of the site? I have found if you change to the c o m one you don't get so many ads! Merry

Thanks merry. Daft question, how do I change? I am lazy and usually access viaa the latest PM message in my e mails. haven't had trouble with adverts like this before though. always have the one at the side and the one across the top which don't bother me, but this is intrusive. I have e maiuled support to ask them. Ann Glos

Ummmmmmmm How about typing in http://www.genesreunited(.)com/ (remove brackets) and once you are in, save it to your favourites. I don't know if you can access the c o m site via the emails that come in to tell you you have a message.....I don't come in that way! Merry

Yes but the ads at the side are only annoying, they don't obliterate the message at the top of the thread. What is the point of paying a membership fee if you can't read the original messsages? Ann Glos

sshhh! I went in and renewed my membership (although it was on continous) and the advert has gone. Spooky! ann Glos
