Having looked through some of the births on ancestry beta, their are several possibilities were the GRO index is badly damaged so cannot read them, so i would contact the registry office at walsall, as they will have the info you are looking for, but still get the marriage cert to confirm first. hope this helps Roy

Do you have the marriage cert? this will give the fathers name occupation so you can do further checks to confirm, name spelling and also census info Roy
