http://www(.)ancestry(.)co(.)uk/search/rectype/vital/freebmd/bmd(.)aspx This is the GRO and it is free for births marriages and deaths from 1837 to 1983, I have just had a look for a death on there as I knew the year and it gave me the date the person was born can someone tell me what years it gives this info from please. Sue
