Hi Dea I saw a thread where you said you couldn't find your Fentons - don't suppose they were from Blackburn or Darwen?? I have Fentons in my tree.

THANK YOU Andrea, Unfortunately they are from Salford, Lancs - I have them on all census's EXCEPT 1871 when they are all missing - It wouldn't really matter except that between 1871 and 1881 he gets a new wife - Therefore I have no info on his 1st wife (Margaret McLoughlin) as her family is ALSO missing so I can't connect her with anyone!! Thank you though for thinking of me. Many thanks, Dea x

Oh well, it was worth a try! You have to check out all possibilities in this game cos sometimes it's the long shots that you would never think in a million years would connect that end up being that final piece of the puzzle!! Good luck with your research. Thanks for replying.
