has anyone got acess to scottish records, trying to find a Norman Adkins duff Mitchell for my SIL...think he was born around 1916 -1917, any help much appreciated.

Hi Scotlandspeople site, the birth only go up to 1905. Only other way to get his birth would be if somebody was going to Edinburgh. If you know who his parents were, you would would get their marriage on the site,from that you will get their parents etc. Marion

Hi Sandra, Try the Scottish Records Office site at www.gro-scotland.gov.uk You might find the information there, but if you want a printed report they do charge. Mary
