Hi All Need some help with some sisters, Anne and Emma Whitson (sometimes spelt Whitsun). 1881 - both living With Parents in Blaina Richard Whitson abt 1845 Forest Of Dean, Gloucestershire, England Head Aberystruth Monmouthshire Esther Whitson abt 1853 Blaina, Monmouth, Wales Wife Aberystruth Monmouthshire >> Anne Whitson abt 1875 Blaina, Monmouth, Wales Daughter Aberystruth Monmouthshire >> Emma Whitson abt 1873 Blaina, Monmouth, Wales Daughter Aberystruth Monmouthshire Rosey Whitson abt 1878 Blaina, Monmouth, Wales Daughter Aberystruth Monmouthshire Amelia Whitson Blaina, Monmouth, Wales Daughter Aberystruth Monmouthshire 1891 - Emma is a servant at a farm in Abertillery Emma Whitson abt 1872 Blaina, Monmouthshire, Wales Servant Aberystruth Monmouthshire Anne - No Trace after 1881. Anne and Emma had 7 sisters, I have managed to trace them all, and this hasnt given me any clues either. Have also looked for Marriages and Deaths - but to no avail. Any assitance gratefully received. Cheers...Paul |

Thanks Both! How did I miss her in 1891 - its as clear as day, must have been a senior moment. Still cant find them in 1901 though :( Thanks again ... Paul UPDATE: Just found Annie on 1901 Annie J Prosser abt 1876 Blaina, Monmouthshire, Wales Wife Aberystruth Monmouthshire Charles Prosser abt 1872 St Margarets, Herefordshire, England Head Aberystruth Monmouthshire Doris A Prosser abt 1900 Blaina, Monmouthshire, Wales Daughter Aberystruth Monmouthshire She was don on the BMD register as Annie Jane Witson. Just Emma to go! |

Hi Paul, Maybe just a coincidence,but there is an Annie J Prosser on the 1901,place & yr of birth fits. Charles Prosser b.1872 Hereford, is the head of household. RG13/4934/174/25 |

Hi,There is a marriage of Emma Whitson. SeptQ1888 Westbury on Severn 6a-418 Problem is 1 male marriage partner missing. Could Emma Rees on the 1901census with Annie J Prosser be her sister???? |
