Hi Mary. It depends what port in Australia your searching for. Each state carries its own inward passenger records. Here is a few links you could try on inward shipping passenger lists. http://www.genseek.net/index.htm ( go to Passenger lists ) http://www.records.nsw.gov.au/staterecords/ ( click on State archives, then online index's ) Other links. http://www.blaxland(.)com/ozships/ http://www.cyndislist(.)com/austnz(.)htm#Libraries http://www.theshipslist(.)com/ Also see my 'AUSTRALIAN RESEARCH TIPS' i have nudged it up for you. Cheers. Tony Oz

Hi Mary. You could try this link for Tassie. http://www.rootsweb(.)com/~austas/ Just type in surname, and if there are records of your people there, they may show up in Electrols rolls, and post office surname directories. Cheers. Tony Oz ps. I also have the BDM for Tassie....but only up to 1905...so if i can be of any help here, just let me know the details.
