wondering if there are any more James pemberton on 1851 census just so I know that the above one has to be mine. Blackburn isn't amongst the list of places Thomas has for places of birth

thanks very much for your help Deborah, this is such a mess. Edward was Hannahs son before she married Thomas, for some reason on one of the census she has all the children as pembertons and the next one they are all back as whites. I haven't been able to find any children between Thomas and his first wife Fanny

Does the Marriage Cert record his father as James a Tailor?
