From the civil registration section of 'Getting Started', scroll down the GR homepage to find it: 'Irish Protestant marriages started to be recorded on 1 April 1845 and all births, marriages and deaths from 1 January 1864. Records are with the Registrar General at Joyce House, 8-11 Lombard Street, Dublin 2, + 353 1635 40000, www.groireland.ie. Civil records for Northern Ireland from 1922 are kept by the Registrar General of Northern Ireland at Oxford House, 49-55 Chichester Street, Belfast BT1 4HL (0232 235221), www.nisra.gov.uk/gro.' |

I use Scotland People for my research but I have came across a marriage 25/10/1899 Drogheda Queens, County Ireland. Is there a site I can access like Scotland's People. Thanks Isobel |
