I am trying to access the Historical Directories online site but keep getting ‘page not found’. Does any one know if the site is still on line? I am looking for information on the photographer Edward G Brewis who had the Victoria Art Studio at 10 New Bridge Street Newcastle on Tyne. I am trying to date a photo of my GGrandfather and would like to know what years the studio was there. I believe the photo to have been taken circa 1880-1890. If anyone has this information I would be very grateful. Regards Gill |
