I guess they are/were Roman Catholic?? The Catholic Churches generally do not allow the Latter Day Saints access to their records, so that would be the most likely reason for you not finding anything. We have spent years (about 10) and £100's researching hubby's Spanish ancestry which included bribing priests to look things up etc etc!! Merry |

LDS is not by any means complete. Some English counties are hardly covered at all, and lots of places have very little after about 1850. So whether or not you find your relatives is a bit hit and miss. Additionally, the entries added by personal submitters can be unreliable, and they depend on whether or not someone has researched your family. nell |

HI ALL I HAVE JUST BEEN ON WWW.FAMILYSEARCH.ORG, FIRST TIME PUT IN MY FAMILY SURNAME SCRIMAGLIA, AND THERE ARE NO RECORDS AT ALL? SO I TRIED MY GRAT GREAT GRANDMOTHERS MN, AND THEY ALL CAME UP, TRIED ANOTHER FAMILY MEMBER AND THEY ARE ALL THERE, I HAVE PHOTOS OF A FAMILY TOMB IN ITALY WITH THE NAME SCRIMAGLIA ON IT, SO SPELLING IS RIGHT, IT DATES BACK TO 1800, ANY HELP ON WHY SCRIMAGLIAS ARE NOT THERE??? |
