Hi Helen Looking for Robert Fuge in 1851 census. He was born 1822 in Devon, around Plymouth. This is a difficult search. Others have searched & failed. (Not Robert Cox Fudge). He married Elizabeth Taylor in Dec 1851 in East Stonehouse,Devon & came to Sth Australia in 1853. His father was John Fuge, occupation Cabinet Maker. Robert was found in 1841 at Ersworthy,Sheepstor,Devon. Am going to put a post on this site asking for suggestions of variations which he may have been mistranscribed as. This is my brickwall. Thanks for looking. Kerri

Hello Helen, I am very new to this - so, at the risk of sounding foolish, what do you have access to which allows you to do all this looking-up? Regards Linda PA
