I am trying to find Mary Mckeggs death. I know she was still alive in 1938 because that was the year Great grandfather died and she was mentioned on the death certif. He was 58 yrs old when he died. I have tried ancestery but only seem to get the 1800`s and early 1900`s. She lived in York but i do`nt know if she stayed or moved elsewhere. Any help or hints would be great. Thankyou. Vanessa

Hi Vanessa The complete Death Index Images are avaialble on Ancestry, you could trawl through a few images from 1938 onwards - tedious stuff though! Cheers...Paul

Vanessa, You need to find the beta index of deaths and then manually trawl through it - you can't do a name search. janice
