1901 census CARDIFF lookup please

Please could anybody find Dorothy Harcourt, born August 1893 on the 1901 census please? Thanks, Andy

The only Harcourt's i can see born Cardiff are these, no sign of Dorothy though: Image reads Glamorgan/Cardiff for Lilly and Edway... Thanks for looking, She was definitely there. She was born and raised in Cardiff so has to appear somewhere. I can't think of any reason why she wouldn't have been around on Census day - she was only a nipper after all. Andy

Sorry, I should have added what else I knew.... her mother is Elizabeth Harcourt (nee Harry) and her father David Harcourt (who was in the Merchant Navy so probably won't appear on any censuses.) Thanks, Andy

Hi Andy, You may be interested to know that there is a Dorothy Harcourt in the 1901......difficult to find due to her first name being mis-spelt. However, this Dorothy was born in London......? Details are: DORTHY HARCOURT B:1894 Stephney, London. SIDNEY J HARCOURT father b1872 Shoreditch ELIZA J HARCOURT wife b 1872 Shoreditch FREDERICK W HARCOURT son b1900 Plaistow SIDNEY J HARCOURT son b 1898 Stephney. Have the original transcript if you want a copy. David

There are two births for Dorothy Harcourt registered and this is the other one Maureen

Thanks for looking (thanks too David), She is definitely a Cardiff girl. There must either be a very bad spelling or mis-transcription somewhere or she somehow evaded the enumerators on census day! Andy
