I think I am going nuts but maybe it might explain medical histories..... I'm looking for Lilian May Farley born Sept 1911 in Kensington - now I am seeing the mothers name as COGDELL - can you confirm this for me? My surprise is Lilian married a man with the surname COGDELL!! Ooops!! :O)

Hi Yoir right she married a Gogdell, no sorry think that last vowel. may be an O so it would be Cogdoll, what did you find on Ancestry this is on 1837? Sheila

Well, two independent transcribers on FreeBMD have given it as Cogdell, so I should think that is right... just waiting for the image to load... Definitely Cogdell and the image on FreeBMD is very clear. Probably she married a cousin... Kate.

Diana Yes it looks like COGDELL to me. Maybe she married a cousin from her Mum's side of the family. When did she get married? Suzy

Hi Again, May be a mistake on 1837 but magnified to 300% it looks like O not E :O( like you say mabe a relative . Sheila

Yeah I think it is although have found this one too but maybe too late as birth was before Cogdell Mary A Kensington.1a 390 Marriage 4 1912 married Frederick FARLEY Jan Q 1907 Kensington.1a 359 Possible matches for Albert Farley marriage Alice Cogdell or Janet Henderson
