How would I go about locating a will, please? I have looked on the National Archives website and can't find anything. Is there anywhere else I can try? Thanks Julia

From googling: Might give you an idea: http://www.sdfhs.org/WILLS.HTM (About somerset wills) http://www.wiltshire.gov.uk/leisure-and-culture/access-to-records/witshire-and-swindon-record-office/wsro-wiltshire-wills-project.htm (Wiltshire Wills) Looks like there is a comprehensive Wills indexing project going on for Wiltshire but it only covers upto 1858 - If you contact the Wiltshire records office Im sure they will be abe to help) Suzanne

The National Probate Index covers 1858-1943 & can usually be found in Local record offices or libraries.
