How do you save something on FTM?

Or, somewhere on your computer you should have a .FTW file. This stands for Family Tree for Windows and this is the file that gets updated every time you close FTM. You can save the gedcom or the FTW - save both if you wish. If you can't find the FTW file do a search for it - go to START/SEARCH Cheers, Horatia

Hi Tom You export it as a 'Gedcom' file. Click on File -> Export File -> Entire File Then you can choose which drive you want to save it to. Hope this helps (and I hope I'm right lol!). Mandy

HI all, have now entered loads onto my FTM, and it is saved on my computer. You just click the icon on the desktop, and don;t even have to 'save' it before closing. But how do I save it onto a memory stick or CD, because on the drop down file menu, there isn;t an option to click save. Thanks
