Just fiddling on National Archives site and found that this lot can be seen at Kew: A selection of personal record cards and dossiers of dock workers registered with the London Dock Labour Board under the Dock Labour Scheme. The files contain registration forms, service records (including details of periods of sickness and accident absences, medical examinations and holidays), applications for engagement as a permanent worker, applications for inter-sector transfers and related papers, depending upon the career circumstances of the individual. |
