I just thought I would post this web site http://www.alphalink.com.au/~datatree/poverty1.htm It contains a list of 730 Irish settlers that arrived in Australia between 1838 and 1858. It is promoting a book called Poverty to Promise that has letters written by many of them, and traces their time from leaving Ireland to settling in Australia. Certainly worth checking out Kathleen Maybe it would be easier to google Poverty to promise. It's how I found the site Kathleen |
