Depends on which local office as to how quick they are. Some are wonderful and you get your certificate by return of post, some take up to a couple of weeks. The information is exactly the same whichever way you do it.

Hi Carol You will get that information from the marriage certificate. If you can you are probably better off getting the cert from local office as the wait for the on-line ones is about three to four weeks at the moment. I know because I am 'impatiently' waiting for a batch. Good hunting Maureen

What information would i get from ordering a marriage cert on Line ? Would it be better to go to my local BDM office and ordering a copy. I need the grooms fathers name and occupation
