Can some one tell me if there is some where I can buy a C.D from with either the census records on or B.D.M. on I live in Yorkshire but seem to have six different lines of my family from Dorset, and thought if I could buy one C.D it might make life a bit easier for me I could then offer help to others as others have given help to me many thanks to those who have helped in the past thanks in advance for this one Debbie

I expect some parish records and some census years are available. Try S&N supplies (google) or the Devon family history society. But I doubt if you will find EVERYTHING you want on one - or even 2 - CDs. nell

Look up the website for Somerset and Dorset family History site. They sell all sorts of things. www(.)sdfhs(.)org www(.)dorset-opc(.)com/ The last one is worth looking at for Dorset rellies as some of the villages have transcribed quite a bit. Some have done the census, others some of the registers. They also have some photo's and all sorts of odd things like local constables.

Debbie, you would have to buy one CD or set of CD's for each census year, so the cost might work out more than you are expecting! Kate.
