getting birth certificates

please can someone tell me the best way to get a copy of a birth cerfificate after you have got the year , quater, volume and page. Can you get them on line? thanks karen |

Expect quite a wait Karen. They are taking about 3 weeks at the moment, although the usual wait is about 5 days. They seem to have a backlog, since Ancestry put the Beta version of BMD's on for free. Kath. x |
