The event occurred when Liverpool was Liverpool and Birkenhead was a place in it's own right. I think this is definitely one for Daniel, Supersleuth, Raconteur, Bon Vivant and well known traveller!! :-) Keith

jess he was crushed to death and his daughter in law had a very bad skin infection which led to brain infection and a coma. lizz

I have just recieved a death certificate and found out that yet another family member had an untimely and horrible death. The death certificate was certified by the coroner . Batholomew flaherty died in hospital on 17/07/1882 hospital's name was borough hospital birkenhead wirral.can anybody help with were to look as i feel it would have been mentioned in at least the local paper. lizz
