A friend of mine who's grandfather was in the Coldstream Gaurds in WW2 had his white gloves taken away from him., anyone know the reason why would it be some sort of stripping of your uniform if you did something wrong , my friends grandmother never realy spoke about it as if she really didnt approve of what had happened. I was thinking down the lines of like being striped of your ranking or something like that. Many thanks Margaret |
