Does anyone know a website that was basically Folkestone. It had the Folkestone 1841 census on it and various other things, including people names who died in WW1 in Folkestone. I've forgotten the name of it but it was a wonderful site and I really want to have another look at the 1841 census. JOsie

No. I'm sure it had Folkestone in the name somewhere. It was last year, I came across it by pure chance saved it in my favourites but when our hard-disc broke of course it was lost. I've tried googling everything I can think of. It even had the roll of honour from the Harvey Grammer School on it.

I'm not far from Folkestone and can do a lookup in the library. They have PRs for many local churches too, but not many into 1900s . Send me a personal message if you need help.

I know the one you mean as I have been on it. I think it was a personal website, but can not locate it. Will keep searching. Mags
