i was just doing some copying & pasteing, when my pc froze and there was a beep then the curser wouldn't move! couldn't do a reboot, so had to switch off from the mains and start again, then everything was ok, i did a scan earlier and nothing on it!! chris. |

Probably got too much on the clipboard. It happens sometimes , especially during a copy & paste session. You exceed the PCs memory capabilities. I've done it to my PC many times - don't worry about it. If you are having a major Copy/Paste session it is worth rebooting periodically to clear things out, particularly if you have an older PC. Lx |

So's mine, but it's amazing how big some of that stuff is that you shift around (especially pictures and clipart). I've noticed a particular problem with publisher. I don't do it too often now i have 1 Gig RAM on my PC, but it does still happen! Lx |
