26th April despatch date

Have just ordered another bumper order of certs from GRO. Today's despatch date is 26th April plus add a week delay which is what they have at the mo I'm looking at a May despatch/delivery!! So I reakon could be well after easter before they catch up...... |

Apparently they are quicker if you phone them through, as they are dealt by a different department which is not so snowed under!!! |

I phoned on the 15th and received it through on the 27th. Then on the 27th I wanted another one but this time I did it on the net to save £1.50. I didn't make a note on the dispatch date though. Don't normally use GRO as I find the local offices much quicker, usually 2 days but I'm finding the London ones either don't hold them or they are being rebound. |
