I have family members living in India during the 19th century. can anyone suggest where in Calcutta there would have been an area called Dhurrumtollah? I have spoken to the Indian Consulate in London and they suggest Duramtola, but I can find no proof that this place exists. |

Try Googling the name. Found a site which said:- [Page 175. Line 28] Dhurrumtollah in Calcutta a district popular among Eurasians; hence it houses families with such names: Pereiras, De Souzas, and D’Silvas. Kath. x |
