This is really a GR family tree linking question. Two brothers (Olley) married 2 sisters (Filby). When I entered them in the tree I have to enter the sisters and their ancestry in twice. Once for one brother and a sceond time for the other marriage. Is there a way I can link the girl's trees up so that they are one and the same? |

You cant do this on genes without showing all relevant generation twice, Although it can be done on family tree program on your computer. Then you can export your tree as a gecom from genes to your computer to save typing in. You then need to put the relevant people in place and exported as a gedcom back to genes when you will only have one set of family details. try google for free downloads of family tree programs www*legacyfamilytree*com is an easy on to use Sue |
