New eyes needed, have a 7 wk granddaughter who is noisily nocturnal. Can anybody find the marriage between Jacob Hill and Sarah? I believe it took place abt 1795 in Worcs. Have been on the LDS site, but can't find it. It does'nt help that although I type in Jacob they are showing details for the name james, although jacobs's eldest grandson was called james (am I missing something) Sorry if I do not reply straight away, off out for some much needed r & r

Hi - I looked on the familyhistoryonline site for you but unfortunately, for WORCS, only these two entries were showing up: 1. Married at Old Swinford, WOR Date 15/6/1776 Licence – Groom Jacob HILL aged – status – residence as entered – attributed Residence – Notes – Bride Pheobe BASHFORD aged – status – residence as entered – Attributed Residence – Notes – Misc. Info. – Amount paid £0.07 2. Married at Old Swinford, WOR Date 10/6/1810 Licence – Groom Jacob HILL aged – status – residence as entered – attributed Residence – Notes – Bride Ann HART aged – status – residence as entered – Attributed Residence – Notes – Misc. Info. – Amount paid £0.07 Sorry, neither of them is the marriage you're looking for. Maybe they are still connected to your tree and it won't have been a waste of pennies LOL

Athene, Many many thanks for your time and money. I will now add the money you have spent to the sum I give to the bhf charity. Again many thanks

Hi Lynda - ah, that's a nice thought. I'd recommend that website though - if ever you're looking for parish entries it's well worth a try. £5 will last you absolutely ages - as you can see it costs very little to look at each entry. I don't mind at all doing a few look ups for people, especially when I've got some credits just sitting there not being used. If I can help with anything else, just let me know. Regards
