hi all ive hit a brick wall how can i find maiden names throughout 1800/1900 please help emma x

The maiden names can only be found on the actual certificates from 1837 - 1911

Look up the marriage on the IGI (if it's there) or you could always buy the marriage certificate or the birth certificate of one of the children. Sam x
