I really wish people wouldn't show you their tree until a link has been established! You end up with access to tons of bloomin trees! I delete the ones that have nothing to do with me - but they often come back - like bloody boomerangs they are! Cheers, Horatia

Thanks Chris. Fortunately I have family tree maker off line or all my research would have dissappeared. Thanks Barbara

Barbara Can't answer the first question but the reason you have access to other peoples trees may be that they contacted you and forgot to untick 'the box' and therefore gave you access. I too have access to trees that are not relevant to me and I have PMd the owners suggesting they remove me....Suprisingly very few have!!! Chris

does anyone know what is going on. I just checked and found that i have a very out of date version of my tree. I have done a lot of research since this one. Also I have access to trees that have absolutely nothing to do with me. Any ideas? Regards Barbara
