Cambridgeshire History on the Net is a site put up by Cambridgeshire Library service. It has old photographs from their collections and information, mostly taken from the 1900 Cambridgeshire directory, and covers a good number of towns and villages. I've just printed of 3 pages of photos and information for the village where my great grandfather grew up :-) http://hipweb.cambridgeshire.gov.uk/cambscoll/history.html

Judith- What a great site, I've just looked at photos of Swaffham Bulbeck and Burwell from around 1910, very interesting. Thanks for posting. Brenda

Thanks for the site info, Judith. I just wish every county had as much reliable information available online as Cambridgeshire does. Jane
