In my humble opinion, Hot Matches are a complete and utter waste of time. There are other, better, easier ways of finding matches on this site that are real matches and not stabs in the dark. |

I know this subject's been done to death but at the point my hubby kicked me off the computer last night I had just proved a couple of weeks research. I had got so far as to enter a couple of new names to my genes tree and correct a couple of dates etc. Then when I typed these new additions into people search I had 3 matches for both names. That's 3 new hot matches - but decided not to get too excited and to wait for hot matches to find them ... Got an email today to say my hot matches had been updated. You know the rest ..... they aren't there!!!! But I've lots of matches to Elizabeth Smith b.1810 in an 'unknown' location. Lol. |
