Could someone please try and help find a family for me in 1841, Kent please. I have the names of the children from 1851, but parents are dead by then, so it would be helpful........... Children are........... Charlotte Wilson b 1837 Walmer, Kent. Sarah Wilson b 1838 St Mary Northgate, Canterbury, Kent. In 1851, they are living with their married sister & her husband Mary & Robert Brown in Kent. But I do need to try and find the parents of the three sisters please. Thankyou in anticipation of any help possible. Lin

Have you got the marriage cert. for Mary and Robert? This would give her father's name as a checking point to order the cert. for Sarah WILSON's birth.

Oh good thinking Gwyneth............. I should know better by now lol. Yes I will get that, at least should give their fathers name. What would be the best way to discover the mother then Gwyneth? Lin

If you are sure that they are full sisters, Sarah's birth certificate will show her mother and father.... and this should be the same for her sisters. I would want to look for a baptism for each of them as extra backup information, especially as you are on the edge of pre registration possibly.
