I was wondering will civil partnerships be kept on seperate registers or will they be amalgamated/cross referenced along the same lines as marriages today are . Also what will happen about gender reassignment, if new certificates are to be issued will this be like todays adoption register? I was just thinking of the 'fun' i've had with the census and registration for some of mine so heaven help the researches in 100 years time
