Am looking for Janet Russell or Russel born 1833 in Glenholm, Peeblesshire, Scotland. On the 1881 and following census gives her place of birth as Broughton Peebles, but after a fair amount of digging I found she was born in Glenholm. She gave birth to twin boys James and Robert Russell in 1866 in New House Stirling. They appear in the 1881 Census in Innerleithen, Peebles living with Janet's brother James. The boys appear as Robert and James Dick. Can't seem to find them in 1871. Have tried numerous spellings of Russell and janet. And under Dick Please can anyone help!! Anne |
