Would someone be able to tell me how to access personal records for members of the Home Guard? I have a certificate belonging to my grandad thanking him and stating that, whatever it was he did, would be added to his personal record. I'd love to know as the certificate was dated 1943, 2 years before the end of the war. Carol |

Hi Carol WW2 records arent available publicly, and i think to get them you have to prove the person died and that you are next of kin. Im not sure when they will become availabe, if at all |

I think Home Guard Records are at Kew and not at Glasgow. Keith |
