Can anyone please help with how I can find out if my gg grandparents came to this country from Ireland. My gg grandfather cam eover when he was stationed here with the military foot police. HAve searched the census records to no avail. If they didn't how can I find out more about them. They came from Countys Waterford & Kilkenny! Have tried some of the previous sites listed to no avail. |

No I can't find them on the census's HAve found my gggrandfather on the 1901 census living in Devonport with his wife & my ggrandmother. My biggest problem is that Waslsh is a quite a common name & with first names such as Michael, Richard & Emily it makes it even harder. |
