Because I struggled so much at the beginning I would like to recommend a good read that has helped me to understand how to research my family tree. 'Explore your family's past' a Readers Digest book is reader friendly, very easy to get through and really informative. It is not bogged down in detail but a really good place to start. I bought my copy in Borders price £14.99. Is there any other recommended good reads to help me on my way? Well I cannot take my computer to bed with me!! Tracey |

Tracey I wouldn't be without... Ancestral Trails by Mark Herber (2nd addition) It's not a light read but covers everything you are likely to need to know when researching. It also has an excellent index! The cover price is £20 but I know my other half, who bought it for me for Christmas, got it cheaper over the net. Chris |
