Do Tasmanian death certificates show the children of the deceased?......... If so, how do I order and buy them, please?.......I am trying to sort out 2 Williams with the same surname, who were transported and married out there.

Hi Gwyneth. In some cases they may show children of the deceased, depending on what time frame you are searching in, and again only if the the person filling out the Death Reg. form new the deceased. To order BDM's in Tas. http://www.justice.tas.gov.au/bdm/ When ordering a Cert. it is normally helpful if you can suppy a Ref: No to whom the person/persons you are looking for. This makes ordering Certs. and receiving them happen a bit quicker ( normally ) You may already have the Ref: no..? but if not, and i can be of any help, just PM me I have the Tasmanian Pioneer BDM index from 1803 to 1899..so if this is within your time frame. Cheers. Tony Oz
