hi all, probably obvious, but what is the difference between an actor and a professional theatrical. All are borders in 1901 Barnsley, Yorkshire, on the same census page as each other, but at a different address, so now i'm wondering at the distinction between the two. Joan |

Thanks Jay. I hadn't thought of a variety act i was thinking more along the lines of resident actor or a touring artiste. As in todays amatur theatre and the touring shows we get. Joan |
