Hi I'm sure I've read on this board that you can view all images of a Census area in a given year. Can someone tell me how to do this please? Many thank, Pam (Still searching for Nicholas Earle in Totnes!)

If you have ancestry, just put the village name into the census search box. It should give you all the people's names. Click on any of them to see the image - at the top it will tell you how many pages there are and you can either go backwards or forwards a page at a time, or type in the page number you wish to see. nell

The 1881 census has a very useful feature on familysearch.org. If you find someone in Totnes you can search neighbours. Free of charge.
