Help-How do I check for divorce

Help appreciated. How and where do I check to find if folks were divorced in the middle or late 1900's?? Mo

divorce records The divorce records are a set of registers of decrees nisi and absolute, with their indexes. These are kept by the Principal Registry of the Family Division (PRFD), and are not accessible by the public. Instead, officials will carry out a paid search of the index, and certified copies of the decrees can be bought. You can get in touch with this place:- Principal Registry Of The Family Division ADDRESS 1st Avenue House 42-49 High Holborn WC2A 2LL They will do a 10 year search for about £20 if you have both names and preferably a date of marriage. Kath. x
