Advice on One World Trees on Ancestry please?

Hi I have just found that my GT Gt Aunt is listed on somebodys tree on One World Tree. I know I'm a bit thick!!!!!!. But can somebody kindly explain how One World Tree works, and how I can contact the person who's tree it is. please? Cheryl |

If you go into the record on Ancestry, there should be an email address. Unfortunately my one last entered info in 2002 and email address no longer valid |

Hi Cheryl. I'm at work now so will have to go on memory. I am assuming this is on Ancestry. You have to use a credit to get in to the record. I then just clicked on an individual. There was lots of info about the person in the tree with an email address at the top of the page. Will check properly for you tonight if this is no help. |

Hi Val I'm really thick when it comes to this sort of thing!!!!! The mans name on One world Tree is Alfred Dentith born 1850 in Spurstow Cheshire his wife name is Martha Spencer. Martha Spencer was my Gt Grandfathers sister. If you could help would be really grateful Cheryl |

Cheryl, Unfortunately sometimes there is no contact address. I have had this happen before. I wrote to Ancestry asking for help but of course they replied they were sorry could not help me.. Anyway in case you are still trying to find a contact address. When you find your one world tree and arrive on the Personnel Information Page, on the right hand side of the page is a sign which says 'what do I do next' click. A page come up stating source records on the right hand side and under this title shoud be a number --. user-submitted trees. Click on this. Sometimes it is more than one, so you would have to find out which member you are interested in. However, if it is only one name click on this and a page should come up with the tree and at the top of the page the name of the contact person and e-mail addess.
