adding a nephew to my tree. how do I do it ??

Hi Found the death of one of my grt grt grt Aunts it was signed by William Craig Nephew. Can I add him to my tree and how would I go about it. Thanks Lesley

Only if you know who his parents were. Then is just a case of adding him as a child to that couple. Suzanne

Thats the problem I don't know who the parents are the aunts who's cert he signed was Annie Scott she did have a few siblings but can't find a marriage for Scott / Craig. I have spent a fortune on Scotlands people but can't find anything.

Of course it could be a newphew from her husbands side? (I take it Scott was her maiden name?) Suzanne

Yes I'd thought of that as well, and as we're talking quit 1950's I can't even look at census info to get any idea's. Thanks Lesley.

I have the (Scottish) death certs of a married couple where the informant (same person in both cases) was described as 'nephew' to each of them, but he was actually the husband of the woman's great-niece! Just thought you would like to know that! Kate.
