I'm sure you're heartily sick of my family but one final request please(I hope) My great grandmother Ellen Siddaway (1855 born staffs)was 'married'three times. ,First to Cornelius Wilkes(1855 born staffs) who she married in 1875. I can't find his death but she was then married to my great grandfather William Orridge (1854 born Thringstone). Can't find their marriage but they were together on 1891 census. On 1901 census she was married to someone called Fox but I can't find a death for my great grandfather although I've found apossible marriage to Fox (Joseph in 1896. \would someone kindly loan me another pair of eyes. I seem to have most trouble with marriages. Thanks

Well, sorry Im recharging the battery on mine - BUT you seem to have the golden period 1866-1920. That being so, I would take yourself off to the familyrelatives site (pay to view) which is completely name searchable for that period - you can also specify area and time span - enter each event and bring up every/any matches.

Hi Heather, I did wonder if it was complete. I mean unless I'm missing something, the BMD is supposed to be up until 1983 and I can't even find my marriage on there!!

I think familyrelatives.org is still giving 10 freebies to newbies. Go to their site, register, click purchase units, in the top promo code box put LC2005 (nothing in bottom one). click and ten units box should come up, click on that and you have ten freebies. Use them carefully!

Thanks Heather I'll try that. Have you thought of having a spare pair of eyes to save having to wait for the ones on charge? Just a thought! Jenny
