as message below PC Help I have the same error message when running spybot Horatio mentioned it was some sort of spyware which had added itself to the PC have downloaded the lastest version of Spybot and Spyware blaster have run it and problem still exists cannot find it in system to remove, any ideas please as PC IS SOOO SLOOOW , and keeps freezing . Error during check! Have you looked in your programs add/remove? Click start, control panel then the add/remove programs? |

yes Peter but I cannot find the MSN programme just been defragging and stuff thats why I am late replying , I will kill my daughter she is the one who uses it no wonder she is always having problems on hers ,and Oh Heather I am fed up with this |

Dont worry Val, you will sort it out - I am currently sitting here wondering why the 19 year old hasnt been home since going to work yesterday morning - so its about par for the course with kids Im afraid. Bet your life your daughter will say she never touched it and that you always blame her! |

Val, the other thing Id do, is download CCleaner - just google for it. Its a free program and it cleans up your puter for you - when I first downloaded and ran it I couldnt believe how much faster the puter went. Make sure you put in all the sites and stuff you want to save otherwise you have to put in all your passwords again. |

Heather , she wont be able to deny it as I know when she visits she chats on here for ages.I have got Easycleaner is that the same I did do that last week thanks again having some lunch then back with a vengence, thanks for all replies |

If you click on Start Then Search Type in the name or part of the name which is coming up as Spyware, and click Find it should generate a list of all the places in your computer where this appears. That will show you where to look for it to delete it. Bear in mind that you can sometimes just right click and get a Delete option. |

Hi Val. Go to spybot and and download version 1.4. Do uninstal version 1.3 and your problem will disappear. Regards Tom. |

Tom thanks but I went to the web site and can only download 1.3 which is what I have already is it because I have the free version do you have to pay for the 1.4 one thanks , please help before I pull all my hair out |

Valerie I had a similar prob, but can't remember the error, it was due to son installing all the latest versions of MSN, our PC does not like them!!! Try uninstalling MSN and reinstalling, our PC will accept a 'new' version but will not accept an update, if you get my drift. Worth a try anyway Kim |
