I have never been to any of these evenings but I imagine it might be helpful especailly if you have ancestors in Notts. I did a wea course as an introduction to family history and although in hindsight it seems all quite easy now but without it I would have been completed lost. I probably wouldn't have got past ordering my first cert. The concept of the registers being split into quarters I coldn't get my head around to begin with.

They sound great but are at an impossible time for me. And looks much cheaper than the WEA etc. too. Kate.

More like what names aren't I doing in Nottinghamshire! From being told all my life that I wasn't related to anyone in Nottingham as we were transported in by aliens to being related to most of the county.
