Hi all, I have a family bible found in my attic many many years ago. Thomas & Margaret Hardy Married 27 December 1874 Children Benjamin Harry Hardy 1872 Canterbury, Kent Sarah Maude D Hardy 1869 Edingburgh, Scotland Thomas Erasmus Hardy 1870 Dublin, Ireland - Died 1871 Thomas Hardy dob c1839 Dundalk, Ireland Margaret Hardy (Green) c1845 Dublin, Ireland Thomas's parents - Thomas & Ann Hardy Margaret's parents - Erasmus & Sarah Green I am happy to arrange its return to the family. Cheers Paul A quick check has found that they appear in the 1881 census at 7 Alexandra Place, Bedwellty, Monmouthshire, Wales |

Have you tried putting any of these names into the quick search box at the top of the page, to see if any member of Genes has these people in their tree? Kath. x |

Hi I am very happy to report that the Hardy Family Bible has now been returned to a descendant of the family mentioned within it. I believe from correspondance they are over the moon to have a little piece of family history back with them once more. Never once did I think that a descendant would be traced but It took less than two weeks before I received a reply and information provided verified the family connection thus ownership. Quite a surprise. Bye Paul |
